 Robinson Helicopter Safety & Familiarisation Day
A must for all Robinson R22 / R44 Pilots this comprehensive one day course (for both licence holders and student PPLs) is run regularly throughout the year. Presented by one of the UK's Chief Helicopter Engineers, the aim of the course is to present the facts and familiarisation of both the R22 and R44 type helicopters, including practical examples of their relevance. It includes classroom based
lectures and a fun quiz, as well as practical walk rounds and system description hand-outs. Learn how and why the pre-flight checks are essential and get all your questions answered.
Radio Telephony Course
Learn how to talk proper the easy way! To have an RT licence is mandatory, and this course is presented in such a way that achieving this is done so with the minimum pain! The course includes: Radio Theory, Definitions, Words/Phrases, Types of Air Traffic Control, Transmission of Letters, Numbers and Frequencies and numerous other invaluable topics. Although the course is comprehensive, it is presented
as light hearted as possible and is a fun way to get your RT licence. The course is suitable for people at any stage of their PPL training, from student to PPL holder and is ideal as a brush-up for those that feel their RT needs a little refreshing. Courses are run regularly throughout the year and can also be organised on a one to one basis.
